어린 시절, 낡은 잡지를 뒤적이며 스케이트 보드를 익히던 한 소년. 친구의 보드 위에 처음 발을 올리고, 휠이 굴러가기 시작한 바로 그 순간 ㅡ 카시나의 이야기가 시작됐습니다. 아키모스피어는 그 사소하지만 결정적인 장면을 카시나 성수 플래그십 스토어에 담아냈습니다. 2층 구조의 공장형 건물은 성수동의 거칠고도 활기찬 풍경 속에 조용히 스며듭니다. 절제된 흰 외관 위, 불규칙하게 배치된 창들은 스트릿 문화의 자유로움과 즉흥성을 시각적으로 드러냅니다. 그 안에 배치된 4개의 원형 구조물은 천장과 바닥을 연결합니다. 천장의 오브제는 태양을, 바닥의 디스크는 거리를, 그 중앙에 있는 휠은 카시나의 움직임을 상징합니다. 1층은 거리의 흐름을 안으로 끌어 들이고, 2층은 자연광과 오브제가 만들어내는 빛의 궤적으로 채워집니다. 이곳은 단순한 매장이 아닙니다. 한 사람의 출발점, 그리고 하나의 문화가 시작된 순간을 기억하는 공간입니다.
As a young boy, he flipped through worn-out magazines, learning how to ride a skateboard. The moment he first stepped onto his friend’s board and the wheels began to turn — that’s when the story of Kasina began. Archi@Mosphere captured that small but pivotal moment in the design of the Kasina Seongsu flagship store. The two-story industrial-style building quietly blends into the rough yet vibrant landscape of Seong su. Its restrained white façade is punctuated by irregularly placed windows, visually expressing the freedom and spontaneity of street culture. Inside, four circular structures connect the ceiling and floor. The ceiling object represents the sun, the floor disc symbolizes the street, and at the center, the wheel embodies Kasina’s movement. The first floor draws the flow of the street inward, while the second floor is filled with light trails created by natural sunlight and suspended objects. This is more than just a retail space. It is a place that remembers a person’s starting point — the very moment a culture was born.
