The exterior of the house, meticulously maintained for over 40 years, with its meticulously crafted granite walls, reflects the efforts of the stonemasons in each carefully stacked stone. However, despite the well-maintained landscaping, the house leaves a modest first impression due to its small, somewhat lackluster bathrooms, questionable efficiency in its small rooms, and low ceilings contributing to a dark atmosphere relative to the size of the house. ARCHI@MOSPHERE considered the client's lifestyle and preferences to create a minimalistic atmosphere, from the overall structure of the space down to the smallest details. The first floor, comprising the kitchen, living room, and study, was simplified into a single large space, with the option to partition it into separate areas using pocket doors as needed. The master suite on the second floor was designed to offer ample space, with additional features like a dressing room and expanded bathroom for practical functionality. Externally, the house's exterior continues to breathe with the surrounding area through the enduring craftsmanship of the granite stonemasons, who have meticulously maintained the stone with the utmost care for over four decades.
