이자카야 레스토랑에 ‘도리이’를 새롭게 형상화하면서 일본의 전통적인 분위기와 입구부터 통과하는 통로, 공간의 경계를 색다르게 보여주었습니다. 도리이의 형태를 가지고 ARCHI@MOSPHERE만의 모던함으로 재해석하여 심플화 시켰습니다. 심플화 시킨 모듈의 반복을 통해 통로를 만들었습니다. 통로와 통로 사이 잘라진 공간의 오픈된 지붕을 만들어주면서 경계 공간을 만들어주었습니다. 일본 전통적인 분위기, 반복성에서 나타나는 통로, 오픈되어있는 또 하나의경계를 통해 ‘도리이’ 만의 새로운 공간을 설계했습니다.

Archi@Mosphere recreated the 'dorii' for the izakaya, producing a novel vision of the traditional Japanese atmosphere, main hallway, and the spatial boundaries. The form of the dorii is simplified through the modern perspective of Archi@Mosphere. A hallway is formed though the repetition of the simplified modules. Afterwards, openings are made in the hallway to create additional passageways. To top it off, an open roof is created on the openings, creating spatial boundaries. Thus, the traditional Japanese atmosphere, the rhythmic hallway, and the open spatial boundaries comes together to create a unique space for 'DORII'.
