Our work environment, which ensures diverse work forms and freedom in space selection, maximizes efficiency for individuals working together. In the Smart Office 3.0 version, we transformed spaces into buildings, allowing employees to freely choose where to work based on their work situations. Considering internal building views and sunlight, similar to urban architecture, we arranged spaces to enhance work efficiency, enabling contact between team members within two stages using a small-world network system.
The small-world network theory suggests that in human relationships, individuals are connected with each other within a few steps. Plaza-like spaces with views of internal building spaces and dramatic external views were designed as cafes for emotional relaxation for visitors and comfortable breaks for employees. Internal buildings supporting individual work types (individual focused workspaces, small group focused workspaces, meeting spaces, and work support spaces) were assigned colors based on individual work efficiency. Formally, the height and area of the internal architecture were adjusted based on the standard module of the access floor (600*600), harmonizing with the scale of doors, furniture, and other elements. The existing access floor finish, Hamsuk board, was utilized as the internal building finish, expressing AMD's unique brand identity.
